About SimpleCounter

About SimpleCounter

Everyday productivity utilities should be fast, private, and accessible directly in the browser without sign-up friction.

Why SimpleCounter Was Built

I built SimpleCounter out of a simple frustration: counting items, calculating day intervals, measuring word counts, and formatting text should not require mandatory account registrations, bloated software installations, or sluggish multi-megabyte web pages.

Whether you need to count warehouse inventory, track daily water intake, calculate the exact number of days between two milestones, or clean up text formatting, SimpleCounter provides focused tools designed to execute instantly and keep your data safe.

10 Free Tools

Counters, converters, and date utilities built for daily use.

Browser-Based

Runs directly on your phone, tablet, or desktop.

Free to Use

No subscriptions, no accounts, and no paid feature walls.

Design Principles

Three Core Standards

Local-First Privacy

Calculations and tallies run client-side in your browser. When you save counts, they stay in your device's LocalStorage and are never transmitted to a server database.

Speed & Reliability

Built on Next.js with optimized client components. Tools respond instantaneously to clicks, keyboard shortcuts, and touchscreen taps without lag.

Focused Utility

Each tool does one job well. No unnecessary complexity or multi-step setups—just open the page and get the job done.

Creator & Maintainer

Shahid Adnan Wali

SimpleCounter is an independent project designed, built, and actively maintained by Shahid Adnan Wali. I write the code, refine the counting algorithms, and verify the guides to keep the site helpful, accurate, and completely free to use.
